Route 66 Trip, July 17

Disk-lock problem fixed -- a locksmith cut it open for Pete.

We spent the day at Ventura beach then the harbour, and then around 4:30pm rode back into LA to Torrance where we are spending our last evening.

The ride from Ventura to Torrance was partly very scenic (see photo lifted from Google images below) but also clogged with traffic in many sections.

Tomorrow we hand in the bikes and fly home.

Final note, 18 July: my bike did 2,962 miles overall. We've handed our bikes over and are now waiting to go to the airport.
