Tag File

Previous topic Next topic JavaScript is required for the print function

By default, WordSmith will ignore any tags marked with < and > which it finds in texts. But tag mark-up may be useful to you in concordancing, wordlisting etc....

If you want to be able to see and search for tags as well as ordinary text, you will need to define a tag file.  A tag file tells WordSmith which tags you are interested in, what colour to display them in, etc. You may also want a file to specify some tags as unwanted.

This is explained here in the Online Helpthe section on Tags and Markup.
